Why I Built It

Linear got bloated. What started clean became a maze—five clicks to see a kanban board, velocity insights buried or missing entirely. The tool was getting in the way of the work.

I wanted the opposite. A board that loads instantly. Velocity charts that actually tell you something. Zero friction between opening the app and doing the work.

Built With Rails and Hotwire

SprintFlint is built on Rails 8.1 with Hotwire (Turbo + Stimulus), delivering real-time updates without the complexity of heavy JavaScript frameworks. The backend runs on Ruby 3.4 with PostgreSQL, Redis, and Sidekiq for background jobs.

Every interaction is designed for speed—from magic link authentication to drag-to-scroll kanban navigation. Less time in the tool means more time shipping.
